POSITION: AREA MANAGER

Mayzon Group Limited is a fast-growing company and an authorized business partner of Vodacom Tanzania. We are looking for a highly motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented professional to join our team as an Area Manager.

Job Summary

The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of Vodashops and Service Desks within the assigned region, ensuring achievement of sales targets, operational excellence, compliance, and effective people management.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support Shop Managers and Sales Executives.
* Ensure all assigned shops achieve business KPIs and sales targets.
* Conduct regular shop visits, audits, and performance reviews.
* Monitor stock management and safeguard company assets.
* Ensure compliance with Vodacom operational standards and company policies.
* Coach, mentor, and develop staff to improve performance.
* Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
* Resolve operational challenges and implement corrective actions promptly.
* Drive excellent customer service across all shops.
* Coordinate with Head Office on operational matters and business improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

* Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations, sales management, or a similar supervisory role.
* Experience in the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
* Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and people management skills.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
* Possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
